On Wednesday, January 11th, storytime was for the birds. The Clearview Library District partnered with the Pennywise Parrot Project to offer a storytime with special guests: the Pennywise Parrots! Miss Megan and her fearless Macaws and African Gray braved the cold and windy weather to share their talents with the children of the Wee Read storytime. The theme of the story hour was "The Letter B", and after songs and stories about books, bunnies in bed, and birds, the children were able to see firsthand the intelligence and the beautiful feathers of these amazing creatures. The children bubbled with excitement, and the birds had a blast!
The Wee Read storytime for ages 2-6 occurs Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m., with a repeat session at 10:35. It involves songs, rhymes, dancing, and, of course, some fantastic books.
