Volunteer of the Month: Donna Reiser

Donna Reiser has been named December’s Volunteer of the Month at Windsor-Severance Library. Donna has volunteered for the library for 22 years! She helps at the library by checking for overdue and missing items, shelving and stamping books and doing other special projects. She says that working at the library “is fun and the staff is very friendly, outgoing and willing to help patrons.”

When Donna is not helping at the library, she enjoys crossword and jigsaw puzzles, plastic canvas yarn work, reading and spending time with her family. Donna’s favorite books include: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, Sarah’s Key by Tatiana de Rosnay, The Help by Kathryn Stockett, and anything by James Patterson. The library staff enjoys working with Donna because she is so cheerful, works hard and often brings cookies to share. Thank you Donna for all you do!
