Sue Clark will be offering two Zentangle classes at the Windsor-Severance Library. A class for adults will be offered Wednesday, October 19 from 6:00-8:00pm and a class for teens will be offered Thursday, October 20 from 6:00-8:00pm. Registration is required and a $5 fee must be paid at time of registration.
What is Zentangle? Zentangle is a method for creating beautiful images using repetitive patterns. It is easy to learn and is enjoyed by a wide range of ages and skill levels. Zentangle consists of a series of simple steps. It provides a fun way to relax and offers artistic satisfaction. As artistic meditation, it supports relaxation, focus, inspiration, and a sense of well-being. For those who are convinced they can't draw, this art method removes the intimidation of facing a blank sheet of paper. Your creation is not restricted by your expectations. There is no planning or sketching ahead of time. Ideas and patterns develop as you draw. Sign up for a class and enjoy the empowering qualities of Zentangle! Check out Sue’s blog at http://tangledinkart.blogspot.com/ to learn more about Sue and the art. To registered for class stop by the library or call 686-5603.
