Volunteer Activities: Katie helps with Summer Reading check-in and straightening shelves. She also reads to children in our Read With Me program.

Katie has been volunteering for about a year. She helps at the library by straightening shelves, organizing the puzzle area, and doing Summer Reading check-in. Katie also completed training to be one of our Read With Me volunteers. These special volunteers read to children during scheduled times in the library. Katie is very cheerful and reliable. It’s so nice to have her help.
Besides volunteering at Clearview, Katie also is involved in dance, 4-H and Our Lady of the Valley Youth Group. She enjoys dancing, singing, acting and reading. Some of her favorite books include the Percy Jackson Series, Heroes of Olympus Series and Kane Chronicles.
