By Clearview Library Staff
The Clearview Library @ Windsor is pleased to be able to participate again in this year’s Relay for Life event and contribute to a wonderful cause. Relay for Life is a team event that celebrates cancer survivors, and raises funds for the American Cancer Society research, education, prevention, advocacy and patient services. The library’s goal is to raise over $1,000 to help this great cause. To help raise money, the library will host several fundraising events. Join us on June, 22nd as the library will be selling hot dogs, chips, and drink combo for $3 each from noon- 1pm on Wednesday, June 22nd. Come and sponsor a great cause while enjoying food and entertainment. Registration is not required but a courtesy call to let us know how many are coming would be appreciated to help us determine how much food is needed. The weekend of June 25th & 26th, Barnes & Noble in Loveland at the Centerra shopping area will be partnering with the Library to help us raise money for Relay for Life. By presenting a voucher or informing the cashier that weekend that you want to sponsor the library, a percentage of the sale will go to Relay for Life. If you can’t make it to the store, one can also make a purchase on line and enter a code number. There will be fun events for everyone from author visits, musicians and activities for all ages. Another fun and popular event is our Murder Mystery Party. This year’s theme is “Cruising for Murder” and will take place Friday, June 24th at 6pm and you become a part of the mystery. This is sure to be a fun event. It is $5 per ticket and all proceeds will be given to Relay for Life. This event is for patrons 15 years or older. Spaces are limited so be sure to sign up right away by either stopping by the library’s front desk, or giving us a call. To find out additional ways to contribute to the library’s Relay for Life team or more information on any of these events visit the library or contact Christina at 686-5603.
