By Library Staff

The Clearview Library District at Windsor is pleased to be hosting an evening, Thursday, May 5th, beginning at 7:00 p.m. with local Author Karen Schutte, and book signing of her debut, historical novel, The Ticket. In this novel, Karen Schutte spins a compelling family story, set in the early 1900’s. The story begins with Karl Kessel immigrating from a colony of farmers in Germany to Cleveland, Ohio where he works for the Great Lakes Sugar Beet Company. The Ticket is an unforgettable and touching account of a true American family, filled with ambition, promises, love, loss and ultimately, a legacy of survival.
