The Clearview Library at Windsor is hosting a free “Introduction to Genealogy” class. The class will take place on Saturday, April 2nd from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the library, 720 Third Street. Presented by the Larimer County Genealogical Society, this informative class will appeal to new genealogists, family historians, and anyone interested in learning about genealogy research.
Information presented in this class addresses first steps to genealogy research. The program focuses on finding various types of records including family history, birth, death, marriage, military, probate, immigration, passenger lists, and more. Participants will also learn about Internet sources, genealogy software, and methods for recording family history.
